HDD for 1910

I have a 1910 that does not seem to have a HDD.
Is it reasonable/possible to install a HDD from Prime?

It boots from a flash card now, and I have some concerns about their rewrite life.
On a related note, can one of these PCMCIA to compact flash adapters be used?
