there are two screws in the back of the computer. Sometimes they are hidden behind two plastic inserts, but these pull out easily. Then lift the back cover off, remove the screen, and pop off the keyboard cover.
Also, the GRiDs only accept certain hard drives.
A conner CP3044 40 meg hard drive is what most of them came with, and they can be found cheap on ebay.

: I have a Gridcase 1520 that used to work fine but it has been sitting idle for a couple of years. I tried to boot it up and it says there is no hard disk. It will boot fine from the A: drive on DOS 6.22 but nothing I have tried will get the machine to recognize the HDD. I have a 3.5" HDD that I could replace it with but I have no idea on how to get the case off.

: Any help with this problem will be appreciated.
