GRIDCASE 1520

I have a Gridcase 1520 that used to work fine but it has been sitting idle for a couple of years. I tried to boot it up and it says there is no hard disk. It will boot fine from the A: drive on DOS 6.22 but nothing I have tried will get the machine to recognize the HDD. I have a 3.5" HDD that I could replace it with but I have no idea on how to get the case off.

Any help with this problem will be appreciated.
