- The GRiD 1580/1585 (Produced in UK)
- The GRiD 1585 (pictured) is the most rugged portable computer produced to
date. Made with proven tough magnesium alloy casework, the GRiD 1585 weighs only
12 pounds, while offering Pentium Power for the processing of data at a speed of
7SMHz as well as interfacing through standard PCMCIA and ISA expansion slots.
Designed for military and harsh operating environments, the GRiD 1585 will meet
all the demands of the field user. The GRiD 1580 is the basic laptop computer
without the detachable expansion tray.

- The GRiDcase 1530
- The GRiDcase 1530 is a Rugged Laptop featuring a 386DX processor, a 387
Math coprocessor, up to 8 megs of Ram and up to 120 megs of Hard Disk.
Constructed of a lightweight but strong magnesium alloy, the entire case of the
laptop acts as a heat-sink. The display is either a backlit VGA LCD, or a gas
plasma type that is capable of CGA graphics. The unit has one 9-pin external
serial port and a built in 2400 or 9600 baud modem for communications. There are
also ports for external keyboard, floppy, and parallel printers. Up to 8 Sipp
modules in either 256k or 1meg size provide up to 8megs of ram. Special low
profile sipps are used.

- The GRiD convertable 2260/2270
- The GRiD convertable is a very rugged portable pen based computer with a
magnesium case and quick change battery. The battery can be changed while the
computer is in power savings mode without having to restart.
The screen is double hinged so that the screen faces up when the case is
closed. When open there is a full keyboard available.
